Yuji Naka Wishes For Dreamcast 2

Remember when Sega was once a hardware giant back in the day? Sonic creator Yuji Naka sure does. The Prope head told CVG that he wishes to make another Dreamcast console in collaboration with one of the three platform holders in the future. Naka stated his thoughts in a recent London event promoting the DS game, Ivy the Kiwi.

A Dreamcast...2!?
“I’m hoping to work on Dreamcast 2. I do miss those old days when I was heavily involved in hardware making at Sega. I was involved in most of the consoles and controllers that Sega came up with."
The former Sonic Team studio head said it would be “ideal if I could become some sort of advisor working with the platform makers in future. I think if I can work really well with the platform makers then it's good for everyone, because I can then come up with totally new games." Naka also joked if Ivy the Kiwi does well in Europe, he may get an opportunity to make his Dreamcast 2.
"Of course Dreamcast was my baby back at Sega and I want to carry on making good games for the European market and one day I'm hoping it gives me the opportunity to work on Dreamcast 2."
To those who owned a Dreamcast back in the day, how does this make you feel? Personally, it would be pretty interesting to see Sega return to the hardware market someday. More importantly, which one of the platform holders will sign him up first?
