ARK: Survival Ascended Guide | How to Farm Berries
Running low on Berries? Here's a guide on how you can Farm Berries in ARK: Survival Ascended.

If you're in need of an optimal method to farm Berries in massive amounts on the Ragnarok map in Ark Survival Ascended, then you'll need a specific method and some tools.
The Brontosaurus tame has been one that works exceptionally well for this specific purpose, and there's a particular spot where berry farming is the most efficient and easiest.

Understanding the Flower Field Mechanics
The key to this farming technique is finding out how the flower fields operate on Ragnarok.
All the Flowers in these fields are actually single high-yield plants that you can farm for great resources. When you collect these flowers, you're mainly going to be collecting Berries and Fiber, and that makes them an excellent renewable resource for your survival.
To maximize your berry collection rate, you would position your Brontosaurus over the flower fields and have its tail sweep attack.
The Bronto's tail swing is wide, allowing it to harvest a large number of flowers in one sweep. What is great about this approach is that you are allowed to keep your Brontosaurus still in one location at the flower field, wait for the flowers to respawn once more, and come back for another round of harvesting.

Harvesting Technique
When Berry farming at regular rates (1x harvest modifier), you can collect around 10,000 Berries from a tail swing with your Brontosaurus.
The genius of this strategy is that the Bronto's level will no longer really matter, the amount harvested because of the maximum harvest limit cap applied to these monsters. This will make even a low-level Brontosaurus equally effective for Berry farming as a high-level one.
Place your Brontosaurus in a position such that you can swing its tail over both sides of the flower patch.
Start by harvesting one side of the patch through multiple swings of its tail, then move to the other side and do the same thing.
This systematic approach enables you to harvest from the entire batch of flowers effectively.

Time Efficiency
You can gather up to 250,000 Berries within just two minutes of non-stop farming. That is such a high yield that it implies you won't have to do a Berry run very often, and it is a very time-effective way of gathering resources in your base operations.
Alternative Taming Options
Although you can technically use a Magmasaur for the same resource-gathering purposes, Brontosaurus is still the better option because it has a quicker harvesting rate and significantly better tail sweep mechanics.
The Bronto's attack mode and size make it perfect for resource gathering of this nature.
Resource Management
The massive Berry yield from such a farming process is likely enough for one in the long term unless you're running utterly absurd large-scale breeding operations on official servers.

For everybody else, though, a sole harvest cycle on the flower fields will give you enough Berries to last throughout extensive gameplay.
