Back to the Dawn is a stat-driven progression-based game where the four main attributes are Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Charisma. These affect combat, interacting with others, and the way you handle various challenges in the prison. You will gain perks, learn abilities, and make choices that influence your narrative.

Health Management
Your Health is your endurance in battle. This stat determines the amount of damage you can take before you die in battle.
You can also improve your Health in various ways, such as getting special skills, eating healthy foods, and getting specialized survivability-related skills in Back to the Dawn.
Energy Systems
Energy is the fuel of your combat moves and powers. Energy directly relies on your Strength attribute and can be further improved by learning a special skill in Back to the Dawn.
Proper maintenance of your Energy makes you capable of performing attack moves during critical fights.

Base Damage Output
Attack Power dictates the base damage you deal with every hit. This statistic is altered through your Strength attribute, the equipment you wear, and your concentrated combat skills in Back to the Dawn.
Increasing your Attack Power implies that your attacks deal more damage to your opponents.
Accuracy and Precision
Hit Rate is the measure of your chance to hit your target successfully. You can alter your statistics through skill, some combat moves, and your inherent character.
Increasing your Hit Rate guarantees that your attacks more often hit their mark.
Critical Strike Potential
Crit Chance increases your chance to deliver critical hits that cause much more damage than usual attacks. Powerful attacks like these can change the course of combat when they hit at the right moment in Back to the Dawn.

Evasion Capabilities
Your Dodge Chance determines whether you can dodge attacks. Your Agility attribute and specific evasive skills control your defensive stats.
Increased Dodge Chance allows you to avoid potentially lethal attacks in full.
Damage Mitigation

This is something that you can reduce with defensive armor and damage-reducing defensive skills.
Combat Enhancement Systems
Attack Up temporarily boosts your attack power, especially for special attacks and activated skills.
This dramatically increases your damage output for a short time, making you more effectively dominate boss battles.
Strategic Combat Strategy
You need to approach fights with careful planning and strategy. Maximizing the use of items is the secret to lasting long in prolonged fights in Back to the Dawn.
