Best Games of 2019

With so many exiting games were released, the year 2019 has been a busy year for the gamers as well as for the developers. Despite some highly anticipated yet disappointing releases, we got to play some great games. While promises of some upcoming titles such as Cyberpun 2077, Half-Life: Alyx, GTA 5 etc ended 2019 with a high note. Let’s just take a look at some of the top games that were released on 2019.
 

Best Narrative Game:

Narrative games are more exciting for its perfect characters, writing, voice-acting, lip syncing and animation. Games like Death Stranding, Life is Strange 2, The Outer World, A Plague tale: Innocence, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order were a contender of the bet narrative game. All of them achieved a huge popularity but among them “A Plague Tale: Innocence” was exceptionally different because of its story and characters.  Amicia and Hugo played a strong role in the game and the affection between the siblings was eye catching too. The story they went through was simply amazing. Without a doubt it is the best narrative game of 2019.

 

Best Ongoing Game:

2019 was an era for the Ongoing games. Games like Overwatch 2, Monster Hunter World, Super Mario Maker 2 and Fortnite all of them had tons of popularity. Among all these amazing games it was really hard to choose the winner. Speaking of a winner, Fortnite is an action packed, fast-paced survival game where strategic thinking is necessary in order to survive. And I had plenty of fun playing Fortnite. So it’s the best Ongoing game of 2019.

 

Best Horror Game:

When it comes to stress and lot of mental pressure from games that we can’t really get ourselves out, we need the horror games. In 2019 Resident Evil 2, Layers of Fear 2, Man of Medan were title that really made me sweat while playing. Of course it’s the sweat of fear. Resident Evil 2 not only gained so much positivity but the game truly is fun to play. With so many good reviews out already, Capcom is thinking to remake Resident Evil 3. For me Resident Evil 2 is the best Horror Game of 2019.

 

Best Shooter Game:

Shooting games are my best way of passing some leisure times with friends online. Some amazing releases were made in 2019 such as Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Metro Exodus, Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Modern Welfare, Borderlands 3 and Rage 2. While all of these games were really good, but I had most fun with The Division 2. Ubisoft has given a better loot system, different locations, amazing end game content and many more to make the sequel of Division a remarkable game. So it’s my best Shooter game of 2019.

 

Best Adventure Game:

Adventure games gives a feel of something that doesn’t exist in real. To talk about the best adventure games of 2019 I must mention Mosaic, The Outer World, Life is Strange 2, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Indivisible and last one is Days Gone. While it was fun playing all of them, but I had most fun with Luigi’s Mansion 3. So it’s definitely my best Adventure game of 2019.

 

Best Action Game:

Lot of incredible action games have released last year such as Devil May Cry 5, Astral Chain, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Rad, Judgement, The Surge 2. Capcom did a great job with the DMC5 characters and gameplay that others A strong enemy design is set with a lot of distinct levels which will keep the interest of the players. So DMC5 is my best Action Game of last year.

 

Best Game of 2019:

It was definitely a challenge to choose one game among all of these exciting games that I’ve talked so far. To cut things short, I would like to thank Remedy Entertainment for releasing Control which is the THE most amazing game that I’ve played in 2019. You want to know why it’s the best game of 2019, just go and play the game to find it out. No, Remedy Entertainment didn’t pay me for saying this. It truly is a great game to play.
