Here's how you can get your hands on good loot early on in Borderlands 4.

Weapons being such a fundamental part of the core gameplay loop in Borderlands 4, it's important to get your hands on good loot, especially earlier on in the game.

One of the easiest and most rewarding farms comes from the first story boss, Splash Zone – making this specific method really convenient for its accessibility.

You'll want to progress through the main storyline up until reaching the mission that will introduce you to Splash Zone.

When you defeat this boss, you'll unlock the ability to repeatedly farm the boss for loot. Since Splash Zone is an early game boss, defeating him is quite easy.

To avoid wasting too much time getting to the boss, unlock the Stock Room Silo. When it's powered, it'll provide you with a quick travel point; if it's not yet active, the Abandoned Post poses as a good alternative. The Stock Room Silo allows you to glide directly to the boss arena, saving you a lot of time.

The Splash Zone tends to drop valuable loot almost every run, from blues, purples, to legendries, even. Purples in Borderlands 4 tend to be fairly strong, and they can also roll with licensed parts for enhanced stats, making them immensely valuable.

Upon defeating Splash Zone, you'll want to return to the Encore Machine to reset the fight; you'll need to refuel the machine for each run, so you'll need to keep an eye out for your resources.

Even if you don't get your desired gear, it can be marked as trash to avoid losing value or still be sold for money.
