You can pick this weapon up at Josee's Outpost in the present era. While you are exploring the mansion at the top of the area, you will need to do a little backtracking. Look for a corner that leads to a hidden pathway. You will find the blade just lying on the ground.

To get the most out of this weapon, you should use the Blood Code from Josee, the Blind Hero. You unlock this by defeating her. This Blood Code has the high strength and dexterity stats you need for the weapon to scale well.

It also has a special effect that buffs the Bloodreaver Blade Bequeath. This is one of the strongest damage moves in the game. Once you beat Josee, you can buy this Bequeath from the shop at Magmell.
