Enigma of Fear Guide | Game of Statues Puzzle

When you reach the Mausoleum, you'll notice a small Gazebo to its right. There's a locked treasure chest in the gazebo. To solve this puzzle, you'll need to enter the mausoleum. This guide will walk you through completing the puzzle. If you just want the combination, skip to the end, but if you're interested in solving it, here's what you'll need to do.

First, go inside the mausoleum. In the bottom-left corner, you'll spot a tiny piece of paper sticking out. It's unclear why it's placed there, but this paper has all the clues you need to solve the game of statues.

Turn on your UV light, and you'll see these clues:

"This terror must be faced head-on. The last family member eternalized in the mausoleum. I see your hand, that which claims so many, but its one flaw points to the secret."

"You'll need to check the ancestry in the hall."

This refers to the hexagonal root diagram in the mausoleum. The root starts with Eliakim and connects to Marco. Your task is to find Marco's Statue. To do that, look at the nearby group of papers, which list the names of each statue. Marco is holding a sword, but part of his leg is missing.

When you locate Marco's statue, face it directly, as the clue suggests. Look at where the missing leg is pointing—it leads to a symbol resembling the number four with semicircles. This is the first of three symbols for unlocking the chest.

Next, follow the clue for the second symbol:

"Listening to a secret can be a very powerful thing, especially for those who have no other choice. Someone capable of beheading one's own mother. From where I'm standing, I see the blood pouring out. Check the pointy details."

This clue points to Vivano's Statue. Vivano is blindfolded, indicating he depends on hearing. When you examine his statue, follow the trail where his gouged eyes point. Tilt your camera slightly upward, and you'll find a symbol resembling a backward J with a squiggly S. That's your second symbol.

Finally, refer to the instructions for the third symbol:

"I don't see anyone who names themselves a leader. They were strong like few others, and even their weakest arm caused many to fall. But one secret was actually in what they held."

"Flashlight angle."

To solve this, look at the engravings on the statues. Most say "lead," "leader," or "leadership" on their left sides, except for Olga's statue, which reads "The Fall of Eliakim." This is the statue you need. Olga is holding a scythe.

Shine your flashlight on her and rotate to the left. The shadow of the scythe points to a symbol that looks like an R with a T. This is your third and final symbol.

Once you've noted all three symbols, return to the locked chest in the gazebo and input the combination. This will solve the puzzle and unlock the chest. Inside, you'll find an enhanced pickup radio. Just south of this location is a doorway leading back underground. Head there to meet your ghost hunter teammates and discuss the new radio.
