This guide will show you how to defeat Scylla and the two Sirens. The fight requires managing multiple bosses simultaneously, but understanding their attacks and positioning will enable you to maximize damage while staying safe. You will learn how to prioritize targets and use abilities effectively across both Phases in Hades II.

Hades II, Guide, How to Beat Scylla

Phase One

At the start of the fight, you face Scylla along with two Sirens. The Drumming Siren creates red explosive areas on the ground, but these do not deal proximity damage. You can use this to your advantage by fighting close to her, allowing you to damage both the Drumming Siren and Scylla at the same time.

The Guitar Siren either fires Bubbles, which do no damage but charge at you, or performs a Shadow Nova attack. Scylla herself can spin a beam around her, hit you with a Flamethrower, or shoot Projectiles in Hades II.

You shouldn't pay too much attention to the Drumming Siren. Instead, stay close to her and pay attention to Scylla and the Guitar Siren. This placement helps you do the most damage possible in Phase One.

Phase Two

A shield surrounds Scylla and the Sirens until they reach 50% health, at which point the Second Phase begins. There are some essential differences between this step and step one. One of the bosses gets stronger, but all of their plates fall off in Hades II.

For example, the Drumming Siren’s explosions now cover the entire room, and the Guitar Siren performs multiple charges in succession, followed by additional Shadow Novas. Scylla may spawn many small Ads during this Phase, which you can deal with using your Omega ability.

Although the bosses appear to share a health pool, they do not. The most important strategy is to eliminate one or two bosses quickly to avoid managing three different mechanics simultaneously.

Staying close to the Drumming Siren and using cleave abilities allows you to knock out two bosses early, reducing the complexity of the fight. If you manage the initial challenge of fighting three bosses, the remainder of the encounter becomes easier. This same approach applies to Phase Two in Hades II.
