In this guide, you’ll learn how to maximize the Aspect of Moros for the Torches. This setup focuses on leveraging Zeus’s special attack and the synergy of multiple secondary abilities to deal high damage efficiently.

You’ll also see how Hammers and Arcana work together to make your build function smoothly, ensuring both room and boss encounters are handled effectively in Hades II.

Aspect Setup

For this aspect, your primary goal is to rely on a significant Zeus attack in combination with the big hair special. The Blitz damage from Zeus scales extremely well, and you’ll reapply Blitz rapidly to reach damage numbers that surpass what most other Boons could provide.

You’ll want to pair this with Hitch, which spreads Blitz damage to every enemy, making both room clearing and boss fights much quicker while also adding its own damage bonus. You should also prioritize Born Gain. Since this build relies heavily on magic for secondaries such as Fine Line and Weed Killer, Born Gain is essential to maintain consistent usage in Hades II.

Without it, you won’t be able to execute this build effectively. Additionally, take Righteous Pike to further benefit from your magic expenditure, adding significant damage and enhancing your room-clearing capabilities in Tartarus.

Hammers

For Hammers, you’ll focus on Sudden Burst and Furious Blaze. Sudden Burst is the main Hammer because its channel speed increases your cast rate for Fine Line, Weed Killer, and Righteous Pike by 50%, letting you use magic more frequently and deal higher damage.

The slight drop in magic cost isn't significant when compared to the speed boost. Furious Blaze can be used as an extra Hammer. Although it's not critical, it enhances the power of your special or attack. It basically fills the second slot without getting in the way of your main damage plan in Hades II.

Arcana

For Arcana, choose Wayward Sun, Persistence, and Huntress. Huntress is essential for maintaining your power output. You can use Wayward Sun to fill a slot without changing your build, and Persistence will help you deal more damage total.

To raise your crit chance, use Rocky as your pet. If you want steady output, your Fear setup should stay simple, with a single Shadow and double Frenzy in Hades II.
