Argent Skull is one of your most potent weapons in Hades II, providing you with several playstyles with its abilities and attributes. Its different features give you the mobility to change your playstyle from close to long-range combat.

Aspect of Melinoë
When using the Aspect of Melinoë, your tactic is to stay near enemies and use all of your standard attacks to stock up on shells frequently in Hades II.
This very aggressive style of playing means staying in striking distance constantly, so maintaining the right positions is the most critical factor in your survival.
Your best boon has to be Flutter Strike from Aphrodit, since it really increases your damage upon attacking close enemies.
Your close-combat fighting style perfectly goes with this build. You will also want to pick up Secret Crush, which comes from Aphrodite and gives enormous attack bonuses in exchange for precharging 20 Magick.
To round out your build, prioritise Arctic Ring from Demeter. This cast inflicts freeze status and continuously damages enemies caught within the binding circle, providing excellent crowd control in Hades II.
For hammer upgrades, Bolstered Array grants you two additional shells, extending your combat effectiveness before needing to recover ammunition.
Wide Grin transforms your attack pattern by firing all shells simultaneously in a spread formation, though be aware this upgrade may currently have issues triggering the Aspect of Melinoë passive effect.
Aspects of Medea
The Medea Aspect requires a rhythmic fighting system that alternates between one normal attack and one normal special, with continuous damage output in both battles. This calculated form of fighting provides constant pressure on enemies.
You have flexibility in your attack bonuses, choosing between Flutter Strike from Aphrodite for enhanced nearby damage or Sworn Strike from Hera, which increases damage while inflicting the hitch status effect in Hades II.
Nova Strike from Apollo serves as another excellent option, expanding both your damage and attack area. Secret Crush from Aphrodite remains valuable for the power boost it provides.
Your choice is exceptional, allowing you to change it based on your preference and the available options.
The hammer upgrades continue from the previous build, with Bolstered Array giving additional shells and Wide Grin allowing for the firing of shells in a spread pattern at once.

Aspect of Persephone
With the Aspect of Persephone, your combat strategy shifts to a cast-first approach, followed by continuous omega special attacks while maintaining mobility around the battlefield.
Storm Ring from Zeus forms the foundation of your build, causing repeated lightning strikes on individual enemies within your cast's binding circle. Lightning Lance, also from Zeus, allows you to hold cast for precise binding circle placement while striking contained enemies with lightning in Hades II.
Double Strike from Zeus potentially doubles your lightning effects, significantly increasing damage potential. For your special, Sworn Flourish from Hera enhances damage and applies a hitch status. Any Magick regeneration boons will support your sustained casting needs.
Your hammer upgrade options provide different tactical advantages. Colossus Driver adds 30 power to specials while reducing damage taken during use by 30 per cent.
Mega Driver extends special travel distance and increases damage by 50%. Twisting Crash creates a unique effect where Omegaa's special projectiles fire again toward your position after the initial shot in Hades II.
Sudden Driver increases exceptional speed by 35 per cent, allowing for more rapid deployment.

Aspect of Hel
The Aspect of Hel demands an aggressive playstyle where you initiate with Omegaa specials before transitioning to rapid attack spam. Your effectiveness increases dramatically with multiple plasma drop boons from Ares, as these enhance your attack speed significantly.
Wave Strike from Poseidon creates splash damage that knocks away additional enemies, providing both offence and defensive spacing. Vicious Flourish from Ares enhances special damage while inflicting wound status on targets in Hades II.
For Magick recovery, you can choose between Flood Gain from Poseidon, which temporarily restores Magick after omega moves with an eight-second cooldown, or Grisly Gain from Ares, which may generate plasma that restores 10 Magick when striking enemies.
Additional synergistic boons include Slippery Slope from Poseidon, making splash effects also inflict froth status while increasing froth damage.
Profuse Bleeding from Ares causes wounded enemies to spill plasma when taking damage, potentially. The duo boon Arterial Spray from Poseidon and Ares allows splash effects to hit twice, potentially.
King Tide from Poseidon enlarges splash effects and provides bonus guardian damage.
Your hammer upgrade choices offer different enhancements to your playstyle. Venerated Relic extends your Valkyrie form duration by three seconds in Hades II.
Leering Glance causes attack shots to bounce toward one additional target with 15 per cent bonus damage on successive hits. Garmr Gaze increases attack range and damage by 25 per cent each, improving your overall combat reach and effectiveness.
