Heartopia Guide | How to Unlock New Hobbies

If you want to unlock more hobbies in Heartopia, you will need to focus on raising your DG Members Guild rank. Fresh hobbies are not unlocked right away. They are tied to your progress in the guild system.

When you open the DG Members Guild menu, you can see your current rank. You can also look ahead and view future ranks. At certain levels, the game rewards you with hobby expansion tokens. These tokens are what allow you to unlock additional hobbies and add more activities to your character.

To increase your guild rank, you need to earn contribution medals. Contribution medals are gained by completing Resident Quests. These quests are part of your daily routine in the game.

Resident Quests reset every day. Each quest gives a set amount of contribution medals. Because the quests are limited daily, leveling up your guild rank takes time. You may need several days of quests before you unlock a new hobby.

If you do not see Resident Quests available yet, that means the feature is still locked for you. To unlock it, continue playing through the main story. Keep completing story quests until you reach the point where you speak with the mayor, Atara. After that, Resident Quests will become available.

Once Resident Quests are unlocked, make sure to complete them every day. This is the main way to earn contribution medals and move up in the DG Members Guild.
