Use patient movement and controlled damage to beat Absalom without getting trapped by pressure attacks.

Absalom is a tougher early boss because the fight demands better spacing and cleaner reactions. You cannot rely on constant shooting here. You need to understand when to move, when to stop firing, and when to use the safest weapon for steady damage.
How to Start the Absalom Fight
Open the fight by creating distance from Absalom. This gives you more time to read the first attack pattern and prevents the boss from forcing you into a bad corner. The Scout Rifle remains the safest choice because it lets you damage Absalom while staying mobile.

How to Survive Absalom’s Pressure
Absalom becomes dangerous when you let the fight push you backward. Move in a wide circle and keep checking the arena edge. If you reach the boundary, turn early and rotate around the boss instead of trying to dodge backward. This keeps your movement open and reduces the chance of getting trapped.

Best Damage Strategy Against Absalom
The safest way to beat Absalom is to deal damage in small windows. Fire a short burst after an attack pattern ends, then move again. If you stay locked in place to chase damage, the next wave can catch you before you react.
Use heavier weapons only when Absalom gives a clear opening. The Shieldbreaker can help at close range, but forcing close-range damage is risky. If the boss is moving or preparing another attack, return to the Scout Rifle and keep distance.

Common Mistakes to Avoid
Do not overuse close-range attacks. Absalom is easier to manage when you keep the fight at mid-range and focus on survival. Avoid panic dodging in random directions. Each dodge should move you toward open space, not deeper into danger.
