The Celebrant of Mani is an early test of how well you know how to fight in Luna Abyss. It's less important to deal damage quickly in this fight and more important to stay calm as enemy projectiles fill the field. You need to keep moving and keep a close eye on the boss. Only fight when the pattern lets you.

How to Prepare for the Fight

Before you enter the fight, make sure Fawkes has enough health, and you’re comfortable switching between steady fire and quick dodges. The Scout Rifle is the safest weapon for this encounter because it lets you keep distance while still landing regular damage. Do not stand still to aim for too long. The boss punishes slow movement quickly.

How to Dodge Celebrant of Mani Attacks

The main rule is to move sideways instead of backing straight away. Bullet-hell attacks become easier to read when you circle around the arena and leave yourself escape space. Watch the gaps between projectiles, not the projectiles themselves. This makes it easier to slide through safe openings without panicking.

Best Strategy to Beat Celebrant of Mani

Keep Celebrant of Mani at mid-range and use controlled bursts from the Scout Rifle. Fire when the boss finishes a pattern, then return to dodging before the next wave starts. If the fight gives you a short close-range opening, take a few shots and leave immediately. Greedy damage is the easiest way to lose health here.

If smaller threats appear, use them carefully. Weaken them first, then use the healing opportunity if the fight allows it. Healing at the wrong time can still leave you exposed, so only commit when the boss is between attacks.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Do not tunnel vision on the boss health bar. This fight is built around survival first. Avoid standing in the middle of the arena for too long, because it gives you fewer directions to escape. Keep moving, aim in short bursts, and treat every dodge as part of the damage plan.
