In this side mission, you are tasked with assisting an NPC and her Fennekin by retrieving a Revitalizing Twig. The quest involves navigating through the Wild Zone 5 area, clearing blocked paths, and collecting the necessary item to heal the Pokémon.

Starting the Quest

You can begin the Get Well Fennekin side quest by speaking to the lady with the Fennekin located at a marked point on the map. Once you interact with her, she will ask you to find a Revitalizing Twig in Wild Zone 5. This is the main objective of the quest and will guide your next steps in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Reaching the Wild Zone 5 Location

The Revitalizing Twig is located in the blue sector of Wild Zone 5. You will notice several markers indicating where to search. When you arrive at the main street, you will find that the direct path across is blocked.

Instead, move across the street toward the opposite direction, following the road until you reach the far corner. Here, you will encounter sludge obstructing your way.

Clearing the Sludge

To remove the sludge, you must have a Pokémon that knows the Psychic-type move Confusion. Use this move to destroy the sludge and open the pathway forward. Once cleared, proceed through the area following the same direction indicated on the map in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Continue onward through the route until you reach a tunnel, where additional sludge will block the passage. Again, use Confusion to clear it. Afterward, you can continue deeper into the tunnel to progress through Wild Zone 5.

Collecting the Revitalizing Twig

Inside the zone, you will encounter an Alpha Pokémon nearby, but you do not need to engage in battle. Simply avoid confrontation by moving around the area and focusing on locating the markers.

These markers represent item spots that you can interact with to collect twigs. Gather the twigs quickly until you find the perfect one, which will be the Revitalizing Twig needed for the quest in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Returning to the NPC

Once you have obtained the Revitalizing Twig, return to the lady with the Fennekin located in the Magenta Sector 2. Interact with her again to use the twig and help restore Fennekin’s health. Upon completing this step, you will be rewarded with Fennekin as a Pokémon to keep in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
