Game Guide by Groot on Nov 11, 2025
In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you can access Mega Evolutions, allowing certain Pokémon to reach a new temporary form during battle. One such Pokémon is Mega Medicham, a Fighting/Psychic-type that changes form when it holds its specific Mega Stone.
This guide explains how to obtain Mega Medicham, where to find the Medichamite, and what to expect from its form changes, abilities, and type interactions.

How to Get Mega Medicham
To obtain Mega Medicham, you first need to acquire the Medichamite, which enables the Mega Evolution process for Medicham. Once the item is in your possession, equip it to your Medicham before entering battle. During combat, you can then trigger the Mega Evolution, transforming it into Mega Medicham for the duration of the fight.
Where to Find Medichamite
You can purchase Medichamite from the Stone Emporium in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The shop offers a selection of evolutionary stones, including those required for Mega Evolutions. The Medichamite costs ₽50,000, and you can obtain it directly from the shop’s inventory.

Additional Information
The Stone Emporium serves as a central hub for purchasing items related to evolution, making it useful if you plan to expand your team’s capabilities. Alongside Medichamite, you can also buy other Evolutionary Stones required for different Pokémon species.
Mega Medicham Overview
When Medicham Mega Evolves, its Fighting/Psychic typing stays the same, but it does better in battle generally thanks to better stats and the ability being used. Knowing its flaws and resistances helps you come up with better tactics for your team.

As a Fighting/Psychic type, Mega Medicham can be hit by Flying, Ghost, and Fairy-type moves, but Fighting and Rock-type attacks can't hurt it.
By obtaining the Medichamite and using it in battle, you can access Mega Medicham’s alternate form and take advantage of its specialized type combination and stat distribution during combat.
