If you prefer the original blue Wooper instead of the new regional version, you can get it very early in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. The method is quick. You only need to catch the new Wooper, then visit one specific NPC who trades you the normal blue version.

Catch A Paldean Wooper First

Start by catching the new Wooper that appears from the beginning of the game. You can find this Wooper easily in early areas, so you do not need any special tools or late-game progress. Once you have it at your party or in boxes, you are ready for the trade.

Go To The Trade NPC In Town

Next, head to the town on the route and go to the middle of town, near the waterfall. The trade NPC stands right there. This spot is easy to confirm because it is centrally located, and the waterfall landmark makes it stand out.

Talk to the NPC and complete the trade.
