The Outer Worlds 2 Guide | Deviations Under Duress Quest

The Deviation Under Duress questline is one of the more tedious ones in The Outer Worlds 2, which involves you going to different quadrants of the map and collecting audiologs, and exploring hidden locations. This guide will go through each data log and how you’ll be able to access them.

Audiolog #1

Once the quest is underway, head to the nearby Chapel, which will serve as your first quest marker. You will need to get inside to find your first audio log. It can be seen resting on one of the counter tops inside.

Audiolog #2 

After getting your hands on the first audio log, you want to fast travel to the next area, which will be indicated by your quest marker.

Once you’re inside the building, you’ll need to climb a series of ladders until you reach the upper levels of the facility. It can be a bit tricky to circumnavigate above.

At the top, there will be an entrance, and once you’re inside, you will find the audio log on top of a desk.

Audiolog #3

This audiolog is relatively easy to get if you have Engineering 4, but if you don’t, there’s an alternate way around where you have to go back and round the building.

You will have to climb up to a higher level and drop through a broken section through the vents.

After making it out of the vents, you’ll need to go left and around, where there will be a door that you can access. Inside the building, there will be a few more ladders that you have to climb up Once you make it to the upper level, you will be able to find the audio log on top of a desk.

Audiolog #4

The final audio log will be in a Chapel on top of a hill, which will be guarded by a few enemies, one of them being Buckshot Bill. 

It’s important that you kill him and take the Keycard from him, as that’s the only way to enter the Chapel.

Once you use the key card to go inside, use the ladder to climb up, and you’ll find the Audiolog on top of a desk.

Once you have collected all of the Audiologs, head to the Garden area and speak to the quest giver. Hand him the Audiologs; doing so completes the quest line, allowing you to progress through the story.
