Here’s how you can solve the N-Ray Lever Puzzle in The Outer Worlds 2.

Obsidian's The Outer Worlds 2 reimagines dystopia with immutable builds, trench-war satire, and absurd combat, just in time to hijack Halloween 2025. This guide will N-Ray Lever Puzzle.

When doing the N-Ray Range mission in The Outer Worlds 2 section, which requires you to solve a lever puzzle to unlock a locked door.

The puzzle can feel a bit vexxingwhen you consider that the game doesn’t really give you specific closer hints on how you can solve it, resulting in you doing trial and error.

To solve the puzzle, you’ll need to identify the right lovers and pull them in the right combination without triggering a reset.

You bump it into the puzzle inside a control room that has a lot of lovers hanging on the wall.

When you activate the wrong levers switches will reset the lock door.

But solving it is pretty simple, as you’ll only need to move three specific lovers, and once those are pulled, you’ll make a lot of progress into the next area of the N-Ray facility.

To solve it, you’ll need to activate the first lever at the bottom left, followed by the upper lever on the following one to the right. The lever beside both of them will remain shut, and the last lever, the bottom one on the right-hand side, will stay up.

It should look like:

D = Down

Once the three switches have been activated, the sequence will be completed. The door should open, and the following area will contain additional enemies and other traps and hazards, so it’s probably best to progress as you say before progress.

The door is open, you’ll now be able to progress through the N-Ray quest.
