World War Z Guide | Tokyo Virus Sample Locations

Tokyo can feel smooth until the pace picks up. Side paths fill up quickly, and if you make a mistake, a Virus Sample can get chipped during a sudden push. You can avoid that by learning where each spawn point is and picking up each container with smooth movements.

This guide shows you where to find all the Virus Samples in Tokyo in Setting Sun, Final Call, and Cruise Control. It's easy to use and quick to find what you need.

Sample Location for the Sun Virus

First Location

World-War-Z-1

Go to the left side of the two paths that lead to the bus and walk straight down. Don't turn right; just keep going straight ahead on the path that leads to the road that goes up. There is an open space on the right with a green car in it. There is a dead soldier and the Virus Sample should be nearby.

Second Location

World-War-Z-2

After the roadblocks are taken down, follow the road out. Keep going until you get outside and can cross the street. Search for a yellow vehicle. There is a soldier's body behind it, and the Virus Sample should be put next to it.

Third Location

After you help the bus, push through the streets that lead to the western gates. Look for a pink car and a red mailbox on the left side of the road as you head toward the gates. Behind them is a small path. Follow it to find a dead soldier and the Virus Sample next to it.

Sample Locations for the Final Call Virus

First Location

Take the left path when the two paths meet. Go down the hill and then go past the white van. To see an open garage, turn left. Go inside and look behind a box. The Virus Sample should be there.

Second Location

Open the two garage doors that lead to the path on the other side of the car block. There is a big pile of dead bodies next to green cars on the other side that is hard to miss. Go over to the pile and look at the green truck. There is a soldier's body in the mix, and the Virus Sample should be nearby.

Third Location

When the gate opens, go to the fuel depot parking lot by opening the garage door that goes into it. Go right and walk toward the cars that are spread out. A soldier's body is stuck between two white trucks, and the Virus Sample is right next to it.

First Location

Take the elevator to get to the area. Go to the back and look for a door that is partially blocked in the corner. The Virus Sample should be on the floor close to the things that are piled up against the door.

Second Location

To get to the machine room, go left and then left again to go down the hallway that is opposite the elevator area. Go all the way to the end of the room. A soldier's body should be lying on top of the Virus Sample in the corner.

Third Location

Get down on the glass structure. Go to the back of the room and turn around. The Virus Sample should be hidden in the mess on the right side, behind boxes and containers.
