Yoshi and the Mysterious Book's third chapter lands players in the beautiful seaside biome as the action now shifts from swimming to swimming, ocean currents and fluid dynamics.

As you cross the sun-bleached sands, the action shifts away from the vertical platforming of the previous areas and puts to the test your understanding of buoyancy and aquatic mechanics. This chapter will take a long time and experimentation to complete, with learning how to coordinate the skills of a variety of sea life to search sunken shipwrecks and deep-sea caverns.

Secrets with the Casterway Hook casting

The Casterway is a specially bred animal on which you will use a fishing rod that is part of it as you head down to investigate the seashore. The Casterway is then lifted by Yoshi's tongue, meaning that in this case, you're temporarily changing your normal actions and can drop your fishing line straight into the tides of movement, directly to the deep trenches.

When you're stuck due to an underwater obstacle or a hidden mechanism, simply drop the Casterway's hook into the water and move forward. Submerged objects can be reeled up, floating wooden platforms brought in or rare, prize fish caught, leading to huge environmental finds. It is important to time your cast right, otherwise the currents in the water will slowly pull your casting line away from your cast depending on the condition of the water.

The Buoyancy and Bafloonder and Snurfboard exploit this to soar over the waves. This is used by Bafloonder and Snurfboard to ride the waves.

Two native species are involved in harnessing the power needed to move through such large masses of ocean water, switching from such high speeds on the ocean's surface to deep ocean propulsion.

The Bafloonder is a light blue fish often seen in the deep blue ruins, and acts like an underwater balloon. As you swim with the Bafloonder, its steady jets of pressurized bubbles can be used as a natural "jet-pack" to safely propel you through narrow coral passages or to counter strong downrushes.

On the other hand, to cross the tops of the waves, the Snurfboard is needed, a flat creature that can glide across the surface. Yoshi is able to surf with maximum speed over the open sea, gaining momentum so that when he lands on a jagged reef he doesn't crash and when he lands on a far away pirate ship he gets enough momentum to avoid dangerous tides.

Ouchin and Nep-Enut are helping to manage the environmental hazards.

The waters are also full of special dangers, but also offer some special instruments to uncover the most extraordinary part of the chapter. Ouchin is a small spiked urchin that adds a sticky mechanic pure and simple, through surface adhesion.

Since its prickles adhere to virtually any object, you can pop an Ouchin into your mouth and use it to jam far-away moving gears or to freeze away dangerous obstacles, or use it for a permanent handhold and climb up overhead tracks.

In the deepest and open water areas, however, there is great danger because of the presence of a giant abyssal predator called the Nep-Enut, which relentlessly attacks all things that venture onto its home territory. But it can't be rushed past, and only has to be stunned for a brief moment, with carefully executed egg throws, to reveal flattish head as a safe, solid perch for gaining access to hidden coves.

Achieving a Full Exploration within the Maritime Archive.

To score the maximum 3 stars discovery rating, you'll need to experience all of these individual marine elements, and then tie them together into a continuous flow of experimentation. Real progress in this ocean sandbox is in observing the behavior of various species when placed together in the same environment.

Ride the Snurfboard to full speed into a Nep-Enut's feeding area and watch how its hunting changes; or use the Casterway's hook and lift an Ouchin out of a high coral reef to see if a hidden chain reaction is triggered.

You'll fill the coastal pages of the encyclopedia and boldly move on to the next chapter by systematically testing all conceivable interactions with creatures and while not missing a tide pool along the way.
