Borderland's Third DLC Raises Level Cap

Borderlands' first DLC, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned has been met with positive reception. However, the follow-up add-on, Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot didn't do so well. But Gearbox Software isn't ready to give up yet. According to level designer Jason Reiss, the developer is currently working on a third DLC for the game, which will raise the current level cap. Reiss has also stated this third Borderlands expansion will be the biggest yet.

 

"Level cap increase anyone? Got it and it's awesome. Hopefully we can get a full announcement out to you guys soon but, man is this the biggest DLC we have made. So don't worry, we are working really hard right now on both the update (that solves a bunch of issues) and the DLC," Reiss recently posted in the official Borderlands forums.

 

It's unlikely Gearbox will let Mad Moxxi's disappointment affect them, since Borderlands is successful with already 2 million units sold worldwide since its release.
