Final Mass Effect 2 DLC "Arrival" Releases Tomorrow

Ok, Mass Effect fans. If you've played through Mass Effect 2 and enjoyed it half as much as pretty much everybody else did, then chances are probably good that you've played some of the game's excellent DLC missions. Since the conclusion of the core game, we've been treated to Kasumi's Stolen Memory, Overlord, and Lair of the Shadow Broker (we're just gonna forget that Firewalker ever happened, mmkay?).

 

But it's been a while. Lair of the Shadow Broker came out in September of last year. Now, we've all feasted our eyes on the Mass Effect 3 launch trailer and are pining for some new content.

 

Pine no more! For tomorrow, March 29th, marks the arrival of the final Mass Effect 2 DLC, ... Arrival!

 

It's been six long months since the last new Mass Effect 2 content was released.

 

Very little information has been released about this DLC. BioWare didn't even put an official trailer on their Mass Effect website. All we know is that it's intended to fill in the plot gap between Mass Effect 2 and the upcoming Mass Effect 3. Either way, the Mass Effect 2 DLC has hit more than missed, so there's good reason to be looking forward to some fresh content.

 

Mass Effect 2: Arrival will be available for download tomorrow for the Xbox 360 (560 MS Points), Playstation 3 ($6.99), and PC (560 BioWare points).
