When using Galandra in Absolum, understanding how to select the right Inspiration can determine how effectively you perform in combat. Each Inspiration modifies her playstyle, from how she handles one-on-one duels to how she clears groups of enemies. Below is a breakdown of each Inspiration, organized by tiers, explaining how you can best utilize them in your runs.

S-Tier Inspirations
Ghost Blade
This Inspiration summons an immortal sword that continues to attack enemies even after you fall. You only need to activate it when offered, as it operates independently once deployed. In some situations, it might fixate on a single enemy for a while, but this can still benefit you by attracting nearby enemies toward that area, giving you time to reposition or recover. Ghost Blade also works well with certain Companion-based Relics, which are usually less effective on their own, making this a reliable and versatile choice for most builds.
Duelist
With Duelist, your goal is to engage as few enemies as possible at once. It provides a 40% increase to all damage when you fight isolated targets. Although managing this buff can be difficult during encounters with large groups, Galandra’s crowd control options help make it viable. This Inspiration shows its full potential during boss encounters, where you can maintain the one-on-one bonus and maximize your output.

A-Tier Inspirations
Sword Flurry
Galandra gets a lot out of Sword Flurry because she is the character who knows Clash the best. This Inspiration lets you strike more than once in a row, which increases both your attacking power and the chance of a successful Clash. Its main goal is to improve the flow of attacks, but it also adds uniform usefulness across all situations.
Blade Spin
You usually won’t rely on Aerial combat with Galandra, but Blade Spin shifts that dynamic. This Inspiration enables a multi-hit spinning attack when airborne, pairing well with Aerial-focused Rituals. Acquiring this early allows you to experiment with a different style of combat. Even if your setup isn’t centered around it, this move provides solid coverage when engaging from above.

Burial Smash
Burial Smash eliminates one of the key limitations of Grab-based moves. Instead of needing to approach an enemy slowly to trigger a Grab, this Inspiration allows you to charge across the battlefield and smash down on your target directly. It maintains mobility while adding a direct method of engaging enemies from a distance.
B-Tier Inspirations
Spirit Claw
With Spirit Claw, your Strikes become more effective by adding a multi-hit finisher at the end of a combo. Since Strikes form the foundation of Galandra’s offensive options, improving them naturally increases your efficiency. It doesn’t drastically alter your gameplay but offers a consistent upgrade that’s beneficial to have.
Blood Harvest
This Inspiration works best in stages filled with smaller enemies. Blood Harvest provides temporary boosts to damage and movement speed when enemies are defeated. It helps clear levels faster but offers no advantage in boss encounters, limiting its usefulness in late stages. While it’s easy to activate and maintain, other Inspirations generally provide better long-term value.

Charged Sword
Among charged attack Inspirations, Galandra’s version of Charged Sword stands out due to its flexibility. You can charge your attack to gain up to a 300% damage increase without being locked in an animation. If you’re about to take damage, you can cancel the charge at any time. This control makes it a balanced option that adjusts to changing combat conditions.
C-Tier Inspirations
Dark Grip
Dark Grip gives you a way to regenerate Mana while inflicting damage over time. You can lift an enemy and throw them, but that cancels the secondary effects of the skill. Because it’s less effective against large groups, its usage becomes situational. It works in smaller encounters but doesn’t scale well when facing multiple opponents.

Dive Kick
While Dive Kick isn’t inherently weak, it ranks lower because it lacks the efficiency of other Aerial moves. Since Galandra doesn’t rely heavily on Aerial combat, this Inspiration rarely adds value to her general strategy. It remains an option, but not one you’ll prioritize over more impactful choices.
