Hexagons pay for everything at the Hexagon shop, but the missions in ARK: Survival Ascended do not reward them evenly. Some drag on and pay very little, while others finish in under ten minutes and hand over tens of thousands. These five on Genesis Part 1 pay best.

Bog Beatdown is the easiest high payer, rewarding around 2,200 Hexagons on Gamma, roughly 13,000 on Beta and about 36,000 on Alpha, and it usually drops Tek Helmets and Titanosaur Platform Saddles. Bring spare Flak Armor, Medical Brews, and Stimulants, and put a few points into the bow skills.
You fight five waves on foot with only the weapons the mission provides, starting with a spear and bow and later adding flaming versions, grenades, a crossbow, and a flamethrower. A power-up beside the mission beacon quadruples your damage for 15 seconds, and you get a 30-second break between waves.
Grab the weapon you need, move away from the spawn, then run wide circles and shoot whatever chases you. Headshots deal extra damage, and poison-spitting enemies should always die first. Use the flamethrower in the fourth wave, then open the fifth with it and finish the Broodmother with the crossbow. Runs take ten minutes, so five or six an hour gives 50,000 to 180,000 Hexagons.
Cheaper by the Pack and King Slayer
Cheaper by the Pack pays around 2,000 Hexagons on Gamma, 12,000 on Beta, and 40,000 on Alpha, and drops Flak Armor at every difficulty. Follow the small red glowing tracks around the Bog Biome, which turn green as you step on them, and clear three stages. Bring a Deinosuchus, ideally two for the mate boost, because its bleed damage is the only reliable way to wear the Raptor down. Each stage strips about a third of its health, and the last adds its whole pack.
King Slayer works the same way but ends on a Rex, paying about 2,000, 12,000, and 31,000 Hexagons. The Rex can deal over 3,000 damage per hit, so bring a good saddle, bleed it, then run so the ticks do the work. Its stages are shorter, so runs finish under five minutes.

Magma Medley Melee and Summit Tour
Magma Medley Melee is another five-wave arena fight, paying 2,000, 13,000, and 36,000 Hexagons, with Tek Leggings and the Mining Drill among its drops. Ignore every weapon except the shotgun and climb the rock at the edge of the arena that ground creatures cannot reach. Focus Argentavis, Phoenix, and Wyverns, the only threats that can hit you up there.
Summit Tour is the best of them. You lead a family of Parasaurolophus once around the volcano for roughly 2,000, 11,000, or 30,000 Hexagons. They only move while you are nearby and have about 1,000 health each, and nothing targets you directly, so damage on a Spino matters far more than health. Raptors and Carnos spawn along the way, and Rexes wait at the end.
Running Cheaper by the Pack or King Slayer with a pair of Deinosuchus is the fastest consistent way to bank 75,000 to 250,000 Hexagons an hour.
FAQ
Q. Which mission gives the most Hexagons per hour?
A. Cheaper by the Pack and King Slayer, since both finish in under seven minutes and can be repeated seven to nine times an hour.
Q. Can you bring your own weapons into Bog Beatdown?
A. No. The arena missions in ARK: Survival Ascended strip your weapons and supply their own, so only armor and consumables can be carried in.
Q. Why is a Deinosuchus recommended for the hunt missions?
A. Its bleed damage kills the boss creature over time, which is safer than trading hits with a Rex that would kill most other tames outright.
