Arknights: Endfield Guide | How to Solve SOS Puzzle

In Arknights: Endfield, you will find broken Boxes with SOS written on them. To fix these, you have to solve a puzzle. It looks hard at first, but there is a simple way to handle it.

Setting Up the Puzzle

When you start the repair, the first thing you should do is switch to Numbers Mode. This makes the puzzle much easier to understand. You will see numbers along the top and the side.

These numbers tell you exactly how many Green Blocks can fit in each Row and Column. Columns go from top to bottom, and Rows go from left to right in Arknights: Endfield.

Learning the Rules

If you see a number like five at the top of a Column, it means you can only place five Green Blocks in that vertical line. If a Row has the number three next to it, you can only put three blocks in that horizontal line.

Once you reach the limit for a line, a checkmark appears to show you that it is finished. You cannot add any more blocks to that section.

Solving the Logic

Start by placing your Blocks to match the highest numbers first. Sometimes you need to rotate the Blocks to make them fit into the right spots in Arknights: Endfield.

If a Column needs three blocks and a Row needs two, find the spot where they meet. Always keep an eye on the counts for both the vertical and horizontal lines at the same time.

Handling Harder Boxes

As you find more SOS Boxes, the puzzles get a bit more complex. Stick to the numbers as your guide. If a final Row only allows one block, place that one first to clear it out of your mind. If you follow the numbers carefully, the Device Activation will work every time.
