Battlefield 6 can be overwhelming, especially if it’s your first entry to the series or your first time playing a first-person shooter. In this guide, I’ll explain how you can aim more accurately.

As of the release, Battlefield 6 has a slight, inconsistent accuracy issue. This causes shots to miss even when you aim correctly due to weapon spread, which occurs particularly the instant you stop sprinting or sliding.

The developers are working on a fix, but there are still ways to adapt your playstyle to have a competitive edge.

For the time being, to get ahead of all the players, you can take a slight pause before you fire after sprinting.

Slowing down for even half a second will help readjust the bloom and significantly improve hipfire accuracy.

Using accessories like lasers, flashlights, and barrels will also complement the current meta, helping regain accuracy faster.

Controlling the recall is still going to be important. Instead of panic spraying, you want to fire and control a burst so that your aim stays accurate; at long range, try tap firing to keep the bullet spread minimal.

Until this inaccuracy gets patched, you’ll want to avoid sliding in and rushing into fights; try your best to move carefully and use cover. The slower and more controlled the engagements are, the more that the gun fights will go in your favor.

Having patience, utilizing burst fire, and keeping movement minimal will make the difference in winning gunfights.
