E3 doesn’t begin until tomorrow but Activision and Infinity Ward have decided to show the people with an exclusive look at Call of Duty: Ghosts. Call of Duty: Ghosts takes place after a climatic event has rendered the U.S. Government completely destroyed. You are your fellow soldiers must repel this invading force on your own without backup and tech. advantages that come with a fully equipped army.
The hosts, Geoff Keighley and Justine Ezarik, greeted Activision's CEO Eric Hirshberg who introduced footage of the level “Into the Deepâ€. Running on next-generation hardware you and a companion eliminate guards using a new harpoon gun and pilot a remote controlled missile towards an enemy ship underwater. It was visually outstanding but the gameplay didn't stray from other Call of Duty titles.
Your newest companion will be man’s best friend, a combat dog named Riley. In another demo level, that takes place in California, is where we first get to see Riley in action and see California’s notorious earthquakes. Riley carries an attached camera that when activated allows the player full control of the canine. He stealthily traverses the environment, takes out enemies with his strong jaws, flushes out hidden adversaries, and aids in breaching. It's definitely a new element to the Call of Duty franchise but for now it seems that players will only be able to take control of your ally at key points.
The stream ended with a trailer showcasing Activision’s booth at E3, which will display a screen that will be 122 feet, 30 feet, and will cover encompass a 190 degree long field of view. More information about Call of Duty: Ghosts will be shown as E3.
