CEO Mike Fischer leaves Square Enix for Amazon

According to Polygon Mike Fischer, former CEO of Square Enix America, has left the company this month and has gained a new position as the vice president of digital music and video for Amazon in Japan. In April a story appeared conveying the elimination of Square Enix positions and Fischer was expected to leave in May.
Yoichi Wada, Square Enix President, left the company in March after the company announced a widespread restructuring that would cost $106 million after reporting a net loss of $134 million for 2013’s fiscal year.
