Learning Your Abilities

Every Blood Code works the same way when you want to master it. You just need to keep the Blood Code equipped while you play, and you will notice a red proficiency bar starting to fill up. Once that bar is full, you have maxed out that specific code.

If you want a higher version of that power, you should go find the Partner it belongs to. Sometimes, they have a next tier to give you in CODE VEIN II.

Even if a Blood Code does not fit your current style perfectly, it is smart to keep it on while you explore. This way, you fill up that bar and unlock everything it has to offer without much extra work.

Getting Your Blood Code

After you finish mastering a Blood Code, you should head back to Magmell and find Lavinia Voda. When you talk to her, she will give you a Booster for the code you just finished. These Boosters give you a small part of the power from the original code.

This is a great way to get early upgrades for your damage and overall stats. For example, Noah has a code that gives you a nice buff to your Twin Blade damage. It is worth checking in with Lavinia Voda every time you finish a bar to see what kind of Booster you get, as some of them are very strong for your journey.
