Community Update - April #1
Editorial by Domen on Apr 11, 2010
NoobFeed is progressing day in day out. Every day we come up with better solutions, new ideas and ways to improve user satisfaction.
A few things have already been mentioned in Serbsta’s progress update, nevertheless I will update you on those additions as well. First of all, NoobFeed’s rather amazing Twitter page, and secondly NoobFeed’s YouTube channel. These two mediums will help us improve the site’s visibility on the market and add a good stream of new users every day.
NoobFeed’s popularity and visitor rate will only go up in time thus we have to find ways to improve the site’s design as well as functionality. Therefore all of the staff is already posting feedbacks that will affect on how the website will look in the future. As we all know it is still a baby, and there is long path before us.
Let us not forget that content is king, however, great content and a remarkable visual outlet and functionality is what makes a website top of the line. That is what we will strive for and what we have been doing so far. To that effect, NoobFeed has hired three new writers that will undoubtedly richen the site with great material. Hence I, very proudly, announce the joining of Seth Golovin , Tyron Wain and Gary Eisla. All of them are respected GameSpotters and moreover, have been nominated GameSpot’s user of the year. A warm welcome to you all!
We are also working on improving the communication between the staff. It has got many holes that need to be filled. It is of utmost importance as we are going to have more and more staff members and site users.
Oh and one last thing: Marco has a wonderful idea on how to provide NoobFeed with more users, and there was a great response from the community.I am very happy to see such a good reaction to an idea and willingness to help out. That really shows class and it will not be forgotten from our side!
