Building a farm is a great way to secure a steady food supply for yourself and your animals in the long run. To begin this process, you need to find Ben. You can unlock him by following the Greymane quest line.

Specifically, look for the Grounds of the Sunrise mission. During this part of the story, you will help a friend recruit people to your camp.

Some of these characters will work for you, while others, like Ben, bring new features to your base once you finish their requests. This Crimson Desert Guide is the best way to expand your camp and unlock the Farming Mechanic.

Completing the Land of Dreams

Once Ben is at your camp, make sure he is not away on a mission so he can talk to you. He will give you a quest called The Land of Dreams.

To move forward, you need to complete a very specific Apple Harvesting task. While you can find apples on the main map, it is much easier to use the Dispatch system. Open your journal and look for the A Rumor in Goldleaf Trading Post mission in Crimson Desert.

You must send your workers to Glenbright Farm for this to count. Sending better workers might get you more rewards, but the number of apples you get stays the same.

Building at Howling Hill

After you start the harvest, you will have to wait for it to finish. This usually takes about 16 Hours of in-game time. You can sleep for 12 Hours to speed things up, but you will still need to play for a while until the timer runs out.

When the mission is done, head back to your base to find a new build order. Open your map, highlight Howling Hill, and choose the inspect option.
