Finding the Oath of Darkness earrings provides a substantial defensive boost when you first start playing Crimson Desert.

These earrings offers a two-point defense boost, or you can sell them for a tidy sum of 426 coins. To get your hands on them, head to the central town of Hernand.

Finding the Strong Box

When you get to Hernand, look for a house situated right next to the local notice board.

Enter through the main door and head directly upstairs.

At the top of the stairs, you will find a room. As you step into the room, look to the right. There, you'll see the Strong Box. It's the one with the treasure inside, though it's secured by a mechanical puzzle.

Unlocking the Puzzle

To open the Strong Box, you must press a specific sequence of four buttons. Imagine the buttons are numbered one through four from left to right. Follow this exact order to trigger the mechanism:

Push the second button three times. Next, hit the third button once, then the fourth button once. Go back to the third button and press it again.

Then, click the first button four times. To finish, press the second button one last time. This will open the box and let you see what's inside.

Stealing the Earrings

Taking the earrings is considered a crime, so you must prepare before grabbing them. You are required to wear your Mask to steal items from the Strong Box.

Stand back slightly from the box and hold your L1 or LB button while looking at the item to perform the steal.

Be aware that as soon as you take the Oath of Darkness earrings, an awareness alert will trigger in Crimson Desert.

This means guards or witnesses may notice the theft immediately. Before you commit to the act, ensure you have a clear path to the door or a way to escape the house quickly to avoid getting caught by the local authorities.
