If you are trying to finish the Livestock Slaughter for Ben's Request in Crimson Desert, you might find that your own farm animals are taking too long to grow.

While waiting for your livestock to mature can stall your progress toward the Greymane storyline, there is a much faster way to complete this objective without needing a thief item or a long wait.

Finding Wild Livestock

Instead of waiting for the babies on your ranch to grow up, head out of your camp to the east. Near the Fast Travel point on the southeast cliffside, you will find plenty of wild Goats roaming around.

You can catch a couple of young ones for your farm, but for this specific quest, you should grab one of the adult animals. Bringing a grown animal back to your camp is the key to skipping the week-long waiting period in Crimson Desert.

Registering the Animal

After you've got the Goat back to your camp, don't head straight to the slaughter area. The game won't register the kill for the quest if you do.

You must first take the animal to the designated farm section to register it. By doing this, the game officially lists the creature as one of your own animals. This hidden step is necessary because the quest specifically requires you to slaughter livestock that belongs to your ranch.

Completing the Slaughter

After the animal is registered, walk over and speak with Ben. Access the Manage Ranch menu and browse your roster of animals within Crimson Desert.

Select the adult goat you just acquired and choose the Slaughter option. Taking this step immediately will satisfy Ben's requirements, allowing you to refocus on your objectives in Pywel.
