Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation may appear simple at first glance, but effective play requires understanding various systems and mechanics. As the owner of Venus Island, it's your job to help your characters grow and get better so they can do well in advanced events.

This guide provides you with organized information about key aspects of the game, including tools, events, and strategies, while keeping your time and money in check.

Game Objective

The purpose of the game is development. You begin with relatively weak characters and gradually improve their performance. Success in advanced events comes not only from trendy clothing but also from steady progression and strategic investment.

Payment

Spending money in the game is optional, but it can support the developers who make a living from their work. However, it is important to play responsibly. Do not spend more than you can afford, and resist the temptation to give in to impulses.

If you struggle to control yourself, consider taking a break to protect your health. Since the game rewards patience over haste, the best approach is to proceed slowly.

Lottery

V-Heart Stones are the most valuable in-game currency and should be used carefully. You should only use paid stones to buy birthday costumes or open new characters.

The lottery system is run on KT's servers, which means that all players have an equal chance of getting rare SSR items. For example, a 1.1% rate means that 11 SSR items are given away for every 1,000 pieces of clothing that are distributed.

Because the results are shared, you may have to draw many times before obtaining an SSR item, or you may get several in fewer attempts. The collective pool structure is to blame for this lack of predictability.

Tide Pool

Always prioritize the Tide Pool over the Permanent Pool. Clothing from the Permanent Pool will naturally accumulate over time through gameplay and free giveaways, including white coupons and guaranteed permanent coupons.

Since only five identical pieces are required to unlock full potential through Awakening, extras are sold for VIP Coins. Drawing from the Permanent Pool too often can be a disadvantage.

Rock Climbing Event

Rock Climbing Events occur every two to three months with the release of new characters. To unlock Player Power 12/13 Potentials, you must collect five identical pieces of clothing or use Awakening Stones. These can then be upgraded to 24% or 27%, providing a significant power boost.

Each event requires collecting 24 keys, and eight keys fully upgrade a single potential. Choose wisely when deciding which three potentials to enhance, as each upgrade is a long-term investment.

Drawing Checkers

When you play Drawing Checkers, your main goal is to get EX Lotion. This resource enhances the appearance of your figures and improves their quality. The player moves forward by rolling a roulette wheel, which has numbers indicating the distance to move from 1 to 6 places.

There is no way to control the outcomes, so the only way to get the best results is to collect as many roulette wheels as you can.

Competition PVP

Competitive modes include the Friendship Competition, Tower Competition (no longer available), and Wind Ball Competition. The primary objective is earning SSR jewelry, which is awarded through leaderboard rankings.

Achieving SSR rewards does not always require extreme dedication. Playing around 30 matches daily is often sufficient for a steady ranking. However, if you aim for high-tier SSR jewelry, closely monitor your position on the leaderboard to avoid missing out on it.

Participating in Events

With only a certain number of V-Heart Stones, it's not possible to get new clothes every week. That level of play is too hard for even experienced players to keep up. Pay close attention to the pools and events to see if the prizes fit with your goals.

If you focus on Daily Missions during weeks when you don't have any appealing clothes, keeping your score between 3 and 5 million is already a good job.

Stones can be stored for later use by being conservative and avoiding trendy outfits. Maintaining a healthy equilibrium between gaming and actual life is also crucial. Engage in activities that bring you joy, such as playing games or spending quality time with loved ones.

Inverse Attribute

Each character has their own SSR gear that shows off a certain trait, like Strength, Skill, or Stamina. But garments don't always show off these strengths. An "inverse attribute" is an outfit that has the opposite of its trait.

Before drawing clothing, evaluate whether the attribute benefits your character. Some players don't care about odd traits because they prefer them, while others carefully distribute resources to get the most out of them. Being aware of inverse characteristics keeps investment from going to waste.

Island Owner Level

The Island Owner Level doesn't have much of an effect; it only adds 3 FP per level. Skill and planning at this level will likely get you to the top of the leaderboard. Individuals with lower levels can outperform those with higher levels.

There's no need to worry, as it's easy to return to a certain level by purchasing parts from past events. Play the game at your own speed and don't worry about how you stack up against other people. Regardless of when you start, the experience can still be worthwhile.
