Do what I tell you to do and NO coffee breaks. Understood?

Again this is a blog about Mass Effect 2. Like last time I suggest you don't read this blog if you really want to play the game, but haven't had the chance yet.

Well I beat Horison not long after I wrote my last blog, but I am by no means close to finish ME2 on insane. In this blog I want to talk about the team members Shepard brings along on his missions in ME2.

It seems that knowing when to take cover isn't their strong side. When low on health they love to charge at their enemies, which isn't a smart idea at difficulty level insane. If they would take it cool, relax a little and recover their shields when low on health(and shields all gone), it would help a lot. I might actually have medi-gel left when I am done with the mission if they did.

However charging at their enemies when low on health isn't all they are capable of. They know how to take cover.... For extended periods of time when their shields is recovered. With comments like "I'm on your six", "Got your back Shepard", "I'm right behind you"  when they take these long periods behind cover makes me wonder if they are having a coffee break or lunch time. I know the food on the ship isn't the best, but come on, why not ask if we can drop by a cafe or restaurant on the Citadel? Nah they have their coffee breaks, while I have to take out all the enemies. They might aswell be dead, although this way I don't use up all my medi-gel.

There is more. Since they are capable of disobey my orders during combat by having coffee breaks and such, I guess it is not surprising that they don't always go where I tell them to. *points Garrus to cover position* No Garrus I told you take position behind the cover to our right, not charge straight forward on our enemies.

Last thing I shall complain about is their ability to completely wander of in a mission. On a side mission on an uncharted world, with thick fog, they proved helpful in the beginning because they would see enemies appearing much faster than I could. However they also just got lost halfway through that mission. They are such good use in the game.

There you got it. These are the problems I have with my team members on ME2. They are pretty much just a waste of space. If they attack they are way to aggressive and killed within seconds, when they are defensive, they sure are defensive and never attack at all. Going from A to B is difficult, and hey even following me seems to be difficult. Great work Bioware
