Here's a guide on the locations of all the Trials in Dune: Awakening.

In Dune Awakening, advancing through the main storyline involves completing a set of Trials that are hidden on the map. These eight Trials are significant milestones that unlock endgame material. A few Trials are within easy reach, but others are cleverly hidden in distant locations that will require a vehicle.

Trial Locations Overview

Your eight Trials come in the form of unique purple-colored cave symbols marked on your map.

You must finish these trials to proceed with the main story. Knowing roughly where they are located on the map will assist in mapping out your travels in Dune: Awakening.

First Trial: Starting Area

Your travels begin with the First Trial, located at the game's starting point and marked on the map, unlike the other Trials.

The Trial is easily accessible since it's located at the top of a hill. Just walk up the mountain close to you until you see a cave entrance, and inside the cave, your first Trial awaits.

Second Trial: Eastern Heights

The Second Trial is located east of the starting point. You need to be careful with this Trial since it's well camouflaged in the middle of a mountain rock formation.

You'll understand where to look once you've found a Moisture-Sealed Cave that has to be opened to provide an opening to the trial room in Dune: Awakening.

Third Trial: Western Cave

Travel west from the Second Trial to arrive at the Third Trial, which is located in the middle of the map.

The third Trial is a less complicated route, situated in a cave with an unusual staircase at its front gate. The area surrounding it has visual cues to ensure that you are in the right spot.

Fourth Trial: Hammerhead Mountain

The Fourth Trial is among the rugged trails, sitting on an enormous rock outcropping resembling a hammerhead. Climbing the mountain takes a long time and requires patience, as well as good route-finding skills.

Start climbing with the formation's base, using the natural line of climbing indicated by well-placed ropes that show you're on the correct path. Climbing is a little bit slow, but if you keep your focus, you'll be able to reach your destination easily in Dune: Awakening.

Fifth Trial: Central Depths

In the east-central part of the map, the Fifth Trial is found when you reach a peak that has a visible Wrecked Ship to the north.

Search for a recognizable purple-eye symbol that indicates the entry point. When you've located this marker, search for a hole close by and leap down through the hole into the trial area below.

Sixth Trial: Northeastern Corner

The Sixth Trial is in the top-left corner of the map, right next to a Slaver Camp that you can use as a convenient landmark.

Similar to the Second Trial, you will have to find a Mousture-Sealed Cave to gain access to this Trial.

Seventh Trial: Hidden Descent

The Seventh Trial is among the most concealed of all the Trials, involving a descent from a height to the middle part of a cliff section.

Start descending the cliff from the top of the region until you reach the middle part of the zone.

Continue descending until you find a hole lit by candles and light. Enter through this doorway to find another Seal that unlocks the Seventh Trial chamber.

Eighth Trial: Eastern Shield Wall

The last trial, the Eighth Trial, is located on the border of an Eastern Shield Wall. Stand on the sandy ground at the perimeter of the region and look for the distinctive purple eye emblem in Dune: Awakening.

This last trial features puzzle elements that you will be required to solve in order to finish the trial and also the entire story, appropriately putting you in the endgame position of Dune Awakening.
