Getting Diamond Dust and Carbide Scraps efficiently can be challenging in Dune Awakening, but there's a specific location where you can get both materials simultaneously.

Location Overview

The optimal farm location for Diamond Dust and Carbide Scraps is in Mysa Tarill. It is an area located northwest of the western and eastern Vermillius Gap in Dune: Awakening.

The area is located south of the Shield Wall and near the Wreck of Pallas.

Approaching the Area

Before venturing into this location, prepare yourself for significant enemy presence. Hostile forces heavily occupy the area, so you'll need decent Weapons and Armour.

Equip at least an MK-3 Shield if you plan to avoid combat and simply collect resources. For additional protection, consider wearing Heavy Armour to increase your survivability.

Your approach strategy should focus on stealth and speed rather than confrontation. The enemies in this area can be easily avoided if you maintain proper distance and use evasive manoeuvres.

Running in one direction typically causes enemies to disengage, allowing you to return and loot containers safely in Dune: Awakening.

Locating the First Two Containers

Begin your resource collection by identifying the red hologram projection at the centre of the area. Directly below this hologram, you'll discover two containers positioned at the front of the structure.

These containers consistently yield both Diamondine Dust and Carbide Scraps.

Approach these containers from the side to minimise enemy contact. Move quickly to each container, hold the interaction key to loot them, and then immediately retreat to avoid prolonged enemy engagement.

The first container typically contains Carbide Scraps, while the second yields approximately ten units of Diamond Dust in Dune: Awakening.

Third Container Location

After securing the initial two containers, proceed to the third container located slightly above the central symbol on your map.

This container is positioned at a moderate distance from the hologram and contains additional Carbide Scraps.

Use the same hit-and-run strategy to access this container. Run directly to the location, loot quickly, and then retreat to lose enemy aggression.

The Holtzman Mark III Shield provides excellent protection during these brief encounters.

Fourth Container Position

The fourth container is in the middle of the previously looted containers. Placing it there makes the container easy to access after clearing the enemies surrounding you or avoiding them effectively.

This container can have both Diamond Dust and Carbide Scraps. The contents vary randomly, but the location consistently provides one or both materials in Dune: Awakening.

Fifth Container Discovery

Locate the fifth container positioned west of the central icon. This container rests on a small platform alongside other storage boxes.

While the contents remain random, this location frequently yields Diamond Dust and occasionally provides Carbide Scraps.

This container represents the final easily accessible resource point before progressing to the more challenging interior locations that require combat engagement.

Accessing the Temple Interior

To access the inner section, you will need to loot Identification Bands. These bands are the key to unlocking the locked sections.

Start by clearing out enemies at the entrance to gain access to the Temple. You'll find the first Identification Band near the Entrance in Dune: Awakening.

The enemies use ranged combat and poisonous bullets, so stay back as much as possible. Go towards the northwestern entrance, where there is a shield door that needs band access.

Interior Container Locations

Once inside the Temple, proceed straight left and find another identification band near a breakable door.

Beware of sniper locations indoors, as targeted enemies will summon reinforcements.
