This comprehensive guide will help you efficiently gather three essential crafting materials in Dune: Awakening: Sand Trout Leathers, Still Suit Tubing, and Insulated Fabric. These high-level parts are necessary to make advanced weapons and gear that will help you live in Arrakis' hard desert.

Because all three products are in the same area, your farming runs will go more smoothly. You can fight to get Sand Trout Leathers and Still Suit Tubing, but you have to explore certain areas and loot rare boxes to get Insulated Fabric.

Finding Sand Trout Leathers and Still Suit Tubing

To get Sand Trout Leathers and Still Suit Tubing, you need to head to the top left-hand side of the map in the area of Odam. In this location, you'll be able to find enemy camps marked with three little house icons on your map.

These camps are similar to enemy camps you'll encounter in every other region, where you'll go inside, kill the enemies, and loot their remains.

When you take out these NPCs, you'll notice that when you loot them, they have the Sand Trout Leathers as well as the Still Suit Tubing on their corpses that you'll need to go ahead and loot.

Make sure you loot the enemies as you kill them because this is where you'll get both of these things. The process is easy: simply kill all the enemies in these camps and search their bodies carefully for useful materials.

Obtaining Insulated Fabric

Insulated Fabric can only be gained at two locations. Both are within the same region, but you'll have to visit specific mountain locations to find them.

Location 1: Mandex Hole

The first location is a big mountain location called Mandex Hole. This fortress-looking building is significant because the story and quest lines actually bring you here, so if you haven't found this place through the stories, you can come here alternatively whenever you're ready.

When you progress to the very top of this section, you're looking for a chest that looks like a big one. When you go inside it, you should find Insulated Fabric inside.

Location 2: Rockwarren Village

The other location that has Insulated Fabric is located in the southwestern area at Rockwarren Village. You're going to progress through this area, and it goes up into an inner fortress-like structure. You'll find chests within this area that should have Insulated Fabric within them.

Additional Chest Locations

Once you progress to the top area of the mountain, there is a secret chest located right at the top section. When you start jumping across all the blocks, you should see that there is a chest that will have some Insulated Fabric for you.

When you reach the area that looks like a trial area, it's not just a trial area - you have one small chest on your left, and you actually have a blueprint chest to your right, which is very hidden. You might not have even known that this existed. Inside here, you can find some more Insulated Fabric, some money, and other valuable items.

There's also another chest that's just over a rock near the main area. Search this room thoroughly because there are easily three chests here that you can pick up. Take your time to explore every corner, as these locations contain multiple loot opportunities that are easy to miss if you're rushing through.
