Dune: Awakening Guide | How To Unlock Trooper Trainer

Here's a guide on how to unlock the Trooper Trainer in Dune: Awakening.

The Trooper is a very agile and flexible class with which you can easily navigate rugged terrains in Dune: Awakening. 

Locating the Trainer

To unlock the class, you must first locate Ghavouri, the Trooper trainer, who will give you a specific Quest needed to unlock the Trooper Skill Tree. You will be able to find him at Griffin's Reach Trade Post, which is located at Haga Basin South. 

Once you have located Ghavouri, talk to him to open many dialogues. Go through the conversation until you see the option "I want to learn from you." Ghavouri will give you a mission when you select this option in Dune: Awakening.

The Proving Grounds Contract

Ghavouri will give you a contract called Proving Grounds, which involves finding and killing three of his enemies spread throughout the map. They are located at the far eastern edge of Haga Basin South, and going from one to another will take a while. 

It is possible to walk the distance, but a sandbike will save you a lot of time and allow you to move more comfortably in Dune: Awakening.

First Target

Your first target is Aatu Golven in Kaleff's Stand, where you must find a cave entrance. Having seen and entered the cave, look for the target. 

Approach cautiously while moving around the caves because most locations underground have different traps, like Landmines, that can kill you, and you have to do the whole thing again. 

Once you've defeated Aatu Golven, you'll see that your objective is updated in Dune: Awakening.

Second Target

Your second target is Kirsi Tol in the Shamal Tunnel, located east. In Dune: Awakening, engage this enemy inside a cave at the western border of a small cluster of rocks. Turn off the Landmines and eliminate the target inside the cave using your pistol.

Third Target

Your final target is Cardanus Ulun in the Edgeway Cavern, which lies south of the Shamal Tunnel in a larger rock formation readily visible from afar. 

Inside the cavern system, you will have to find Cardanus Ulun, who tends to remain on an elevated ledge in the cave formation. 

Be careful, as two other Scavengers will be in the cave along with your primary target and must be defeated to end this part of the mission.

Contract Completion

Once you have killed the three targets successfully, go back to Ghavouri in Griffin's Reach Trade Post and inform him. 

Discuss with him and assure him that you have succeeded in the revenge mission he assigned you. 

Once you tell him everything, he will unlock the Trooper skill tree for your character in Dune: Awakening.
