Misleading Drop Locations

At first glance, it may seem that the Choam Mineral Extraction Facilities, located on the top-right side of the map in the Hagga Rift region, are reliable places to obtain Ray Amplifiers.

These facilities are situated along the large ravine running through the area and claim to drop Ray Amplifiers.

However, these claims are often misleading. While it is technically possible to find Ray Amplifiers in the chests at these facilities, such drops are extremely rare.

Most chests in these areas contain Crystal, which is a separate required material. Very few of them, if any, will yield Ray Amplifiers, making it an inefficient farming method.

Best Farming Method: Rift Hideouts

Making your way to the Rift Hideouts is the best and most reliable way to farm Ray Amplifiers. On the map, these are shown by an icon that looks like three houses. You can trust these places to get Ray Amplifiers. Inside and around the Rift Hideouts, you will encounter enemies.

However, if you are present in this region, you are expected to have the appropriate gear, armor, and weapons necessary to handle the combat. These Outposts are well worth the effort due to their rich loot opportunities.

Chest Locations and Amplifier Count

Chests containing Ray Amplifiers can be found both inside and outside the structures at these Rift Hideouts. In many cases, you do not even need to enter the buildings, as several exterior chests also contain significant quantities of amplifiers.

For instance, one chest may contain 10 Ray Amplifiers, while another located just on the opposite side can contain 9. That results in a quick haul of 19 amplifiers without even going inside.

Continuing your sweep of the area, nearly every chest in the zone can yield more Ray Amplifiers, often bringing the total to over 80 units by the time the entire Rift Hideout is cleared.

With just one full clear of a Rift Hideout, you can expect to collect a substantial amount of Ray Amplifiers, making this the most effective and rewarding method to obtain them in the game.
