Dune: Awakening Guide | How To Complete The Third Trail of AQL

Like the first two trials, the third AQL Trial doesn't require much effort and can be completed after you leave Hagga Basin in Dune: Awakening.

Getting to the Location

When you begin the game, you will be near the white sand region on the map called the Hegga Basin. As you progress through the game, you'll get instructions on how to build a Sandbike to cross Hagga Basin and arrive at a new region called the Vermilious Gap. The trial is located in this region.

As you drive in your Sandbike to the trial area in Dune: Awakening, you must be cautious of the red circles on your map. The red spots show where the Sandworm sets traps.

Racking through areas like these will shake the ground beneath you much more violently, and the Sandworm will likely attack you. Try not to pass through such perilous regions when selecting your path.

Also, with your sandbike, take the shortest route possible since long-distance travel increases the chances of being attacked by the Sandworm in Dune: Awakening.

Entering the Caves

Once you're at the location on your map in Dune: Awakening, you'll see the entrance to a cave system. The entrance is decorated with some lights and is on the ground level.

You don't need to climb over anything to reach the cave - just walk into the entrance. The cave is filled with scavengers and loot. Make sure to loot the boxes before heading to the Altar.

You will see two passageways in front of you when you go in. You can take either one to reach the Altar.

You can also get past the enemies without killing them, but it's better to kill them so they don't follow you while you explore

Reaching the Altar

As you progress, regardless of which path you have taken, your goal is to continue going deeper and deeper into the cave until you arrive at an altar, which is located at the end of these underground chambers.

Completing the Trial

This AQL Trial in Dune: Awakening is unlike any trial you've completed. You won't be required to do regular missions or tests since the Altar is broken, and you can't interact with it.

Rather than interacting with the Altar, you must interact with a Recording Device near the Altar. The recording is called the Shiggawire Recording. Listen to the recording to finish this Trial.
