If you want to win with one of the most aggressive weapon types in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, the Beast Claws are the best choice in Elden Ring.

They let you move quickly and do a lot of damage. This build is based on Strength, aiming to maximize bleed potential while maintaining high aggression through strategic placement and the effective use of status effects. Dexterity

Weapon Overview

The Beast Claws are a new type of tool that is great for closing the distance between you and your targets.

You can move toward foes with both heavy and light attacks at first, which makes this weapon great for keeping pressure on them. This forward motion works particularly well with builds that add status effects, such as bleed and frostbite.

You should play aggressively because the weapon is designed to reward constant engagement. You can stay close to enemies with lunging moves, which gives you more chances to apply status effects before they can get away in Elden Ring.

Buff Strategy and Status Effects

Bloodflame Blade should be your main buff because it increases bleed. It works really well with the Beast Claws because the enemy will still take damage from the bleed effect even if they roll away after you've almost filled their bleed meter. This feature makes it even more rewarding to be aggressive.

The Strength build method lets you focus on dealing raw damage, while the blood flame upgrade takes care of applying status effects. To cast Bloodflame Blade, you'll need 12 Faith, so make sure your stats are spread out correctly in Elden Ring.

Poise Damage Updates

Recently released patches made significant changes to the Beast Claws' poise damage. You could easily break many strikes' poise with your combos before, but now the weapon does good poise damage with most moves.

Your heavy jump move is now very reliable. It breaks enemies' poise all the time, making it a great way to start a fight in Elden Ring.

Talisman Setup

Your charm setup should be based on maximizing the benefits of your Savage Claws Ash of War. Add the Shard of Alexander to your gear to make this ability even stronger.

The Rotten Winged Sword Insignia should be in your loadout because the Savage Claw gets extra damage when it hits multiple targets in Elden Ring.

You can get more multi-hit damage scaling from Millicent's Prosthesis, but you have to keep your health low to use it. The bold way Beast Claws fights goes well with this risk-reward system.

Stats Distribution

Focus on making your character strong as your primary damage stat while still having at least 12 Faith to meet the Bloodflame Blade requirements in Elden Ring.

For the best results, switch to the Outer God Heirloom whenever you need to cast your buff and then back to your favorite charm when you're done. With this method, you can't spend more points on Arcane while still meeting the standards for casting.

As you gain levels, focus on improving your Strength first, then your energy to help you stay alive, and finally your endurance to help your aggressive fighting style.

The small Faith investment enables you to stay focused on your build while providing access to the critical Bloodflame boost in Elden Ring.
