This build is all about faith-based fighting with weapons that feature flame art. The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC add-on gives you a lot of strong items that work well with Flame Art builds, letting you make devastating combos with your weapons in Elden Ring.

Core Ashes of War

As your main Ash of War, you should focus on Flame Spear. When you run or crouch and hit with any weapon, not just the Great Katana, this Ash of War is excellent at catching rolling enemies.

To achieve effective reaction catches, charge the Ash of War, and then release it when you see an enemy roll in Elden Ring.

In addition to Giant Hunt, Flame Skewer is a great choice that works similarly and has a strong attack follow-up. This Ash of War does a lot of damage in a burst, and it works better with Flame Art builds than with pure strength builds.

Consumable Arsenal

Your choices for consumables improve significantly as your faith increases. When you link a Volcano Pot, it does a lot of damage and throws enemies into the air in Elden Ring.

Fire Coil items are potent, and they can track enemies very well, which makes them suitable for killing enemies, especially long-range specialists like wizards.

Weapon Selection

Fire Knights' weapons work great with this build. You can do even more damage with Flame Art scaling, which makes the weapon's natural qualities work better with the infusion you choose.

Damage Enhancement

Several damage buffs are available throughout the game that help the Flame Art build. Flame Grant Me Strength raises both your physical and fire damage, which are the main types of damage your weapons will cause.

Fire damage is increased even more by the Flame Shrouding Crack Tier. Both of these buffs also work on your Ash of War fire damage, so this build does a lot of damage in Elden Ring.
