End of Abyss Guide | How to Find the Executive Level Key Location

The Executive Level Access Keycard in End of Abyss is required to unlock a restricted elevator in Factory West. Although you may encounter the locked entrance earlier in the game, the keycard is hidden inside the Outer Sector. To obtain it, you must first unlock the Grappling Hook, access a previously unreachable section of Maintenance, and destroy some crates concealing the item.

Before searching for the Executive Level Access Keycard, progress through the Containment Sector until you obtain the Grappling Hook.

It lets you open sealed hatches and cross gaps that previously blocked your exploration.

Return to Factory West once you have the Grappling Hook. The item is on Floor 2 (F2) and requires the Executive Level Access Keycard to access the locked elevator, but you must go through Maintenance to get there.

Enter Maintenance and Open the Sealed Hatch

Activate the lever to restore power to the nearby elevator button.

Once the elevator controls become available, press the button to summon the elevator and descend into the previously inaccessible lower area.

Follow the Tunnels to the Outer Sector

After descending, follow the lower passage through Maintenance. Use the Grappling Hook to cross the gap and continue toward the Outer Sector.

This route leads to an area you could not fully explore at the beginning of the game.

Follow the connected tunnels toward the western end of Outer Sector Basement Level 2 (B2).

Keep moving until you reach the end of the corridor, where several crates are stacked against the wall.

Destroy the Crates and Collect the Keycard

At the western end of the tunnel, examine the crates blocking the corner.

Destroy them using your weapon to reveal the Executive Level Access Keycard hidden underneath.

Approach the item and interact with it to collect the keycard.

Return to Factory West and Unlock the Executive Level

Grab the Executive Level Access Keycard, then return the way you came, through the tunnels, back to Factory West.

Head to Floor 2 and locate the elevator beside the middle of the area we couldn't access before.

Unlock the elevator with the keycard, then take a ride to Floor 4 (F4).

Now you can reach the Executive Level, where you can find a room with a Data Storage Unit that will give you a Data Shard.

You can also find the Big Head Cheat Code by inspecting the electrical panels in the area of the Executive Level.

Collecting the Executive Level Access Keycard from beneath the crates in Outer Sector B2 unlocks the Factory West elevator and grants access to Floor 4.
