End of Abyss Guide | How to Find the Support Gun

The Support Gun is a fully automatic assault rifle hidden in the Outer Sector of End of Abyss. Unlike weapons found during the main story, this optional weapon requires you to return to a previously inaccessible area using the Grappling Hook. You must navigate through Maintenance, reach the Outer Sector, and survive a difficult enemy encounter before you can collect it.

Open the Sealed Hatch in Maintenance

Before you can look for the Support Gun, you need the Grappling Hook and Explosive Charges. The Grappling Hook is obtained as you progress through the Containment Sector and allows you to cross gaps and unlock some sealed hatches.

Once you have the required equipment, go back to Factory West and enter the Maintenance section on the 2nd Floor (F2).

Find the sealed hatch in Maintenance connected to the lower elevator system.

Use the Grappling Hook to pull the hatch open. This reveals a lever you can activate to restore power to the nearby elevator button.

Pull the lever, press the elevator button, and take the elevator down to the lower level.

Get to the Outer Sector

Once you're down, cross the gap and follow the connected tunnels toward the Outer Sector. This path leads to a section of the facility that you didn't get to see on your first visit.

Now go through the tunnels until you hear a radio transmission from a soldier. This means you’re getting close to the right area.

At the end of the corridor, smash open the crates nearby to get the Executive Level Access Keycard. This Keycard is not needed to acquire the Support Gun, but it does open another restricted area in Factory West.

Navigate to the Hidden Weapon Room

After collecting the keycard, climb the nearby ladder and continue through the connected passage.

Follow the corridor until you reach the Outer Sector Shuttle. Activate the Shuttle if you want to establish a convenient fast-travel point for your return journey.

Head upstairs and pass through the doorway leading onto a bridge. Cross the bridge and turn right toward the opening in the wall.

Continue down the passage and lower the ladder to reach the room below.

Destroy the Weak Structure

There are some crates in the lower room, blocking part of the floor. Break open the crates and collect any Fragments you find.

Find the Weak Structure in the wreckage. Go to the damaged area and place an Explosive Charge on it and blow it up.

Drop through the hole to enter the room containing the Support Gun.

Defeat the Enemies and Collect the Support Gun

Dropping into the room triggers a Lockdown Encounter involving a large group of enemies.

Defeat every enemy before attempting to leave or collect the weapon. Grenades can help when several enemies gather together.

Once the encounter ends, approach the fallen soldier and collect the Support Gun.

Once you’ve made it through the Outer Sector Lockdown Encounter and unlocked the path through Maintenance, you can pick up the Support Gun and add this fully automatic weapon to your arsenal.
