Here’s a guide on how to find the Incinerator and use it to destroy Parasitic Growth in End of Abyss.

The Incinerator is a powerful flamethrower in End of Abyss that deals fire damage and destroys Parasitic Growth, blocking certain pathways. Although you encounter these obstacles early in the game, you cannot remove them until you reach the Lower Levels near the end of the story. Here's when the weapon becomes available and how to use it.

Before you can obtain the Incinerator, you must progress through the main story and override all three SCUs.

These objectives take you through Factory West, the Waterworks, and the Containment Sector. Completing all three overrides unlocks the Central Elevator in Factory East.

Take the elevator down when it is accessible to the Lower Levels, where you can finally reach the Incinerator.

Find the Incinerator in the Lower Levels

During the Neural Chamber objective, continue through the Lower Levels to Floor 1 (F1).

Walk down the main path through the adjacent rooms and hallways until you reach what looks like a Save Room. Along the way, you'll encounter enemies that must be cleared before proceeding.

On this route is the Incinerator, found on the ground near the Save Room.

Walk up to the weapon and interact with it to add it to your inventory. This pickup is on the main story route,e so you don’t need to complete an optional challenge to obtain it.

Use the Incinerator

The Incinerator is a flamethrower and is useful against enemies that are vulnerable to fire.

But its most important purpose is to destroy Parasitic Growth. These organic obstacles can be found throughout the facility, and they can block doors, secret passages, and collectible items.

Get the Incinerator and shoot the growth until it burns away. Once that obstruction is removed, you will be able to get to the area that was blocked.

Ordinary Weak Structures are destroyed by Explosive Charges, not Fire. These are organic barriers.

Unlock Hidden Areas and Items

After obtaining the Incinerator, you can revisit previously explored sections of the facility to remove Parasitic Growth.

One particularly useful location is the room directly south of the weapon's pickup point in the Lower Levels.

Burn the growth covering the floor to reveal the Infirmary Access Keycard. This keycard unlocks the Infirmary entrance near the Fast Travel Shuttle in the Habitation Sector.

Exploring the Infirmary eventually leads to the optional Morgue Dweller boss and the Particle Disruptor weapon.

Use the Incinerator for Story Progression

The Incinerator is also necessary for continuing through certain sections of the Lower Levels.

During the Neural Chamber objective, you must burn the Parasitic Growth blocking the passage toward the Failed Experiment boss.

The boss is especially vulnerable to fire, making the Incinerator useful during this encounter.

After obtaining the Incinerator in the Lower Levels, you can burn Parasitic Growth, unlock hidden areas, and continue through previously blocked story passages.
