The archer class in Enshrouded is capable of doing a significant amount of damage when appropriately built. By using the correct set of equipment, Gem, and skill points, you can shoot killer critical shots that pack almost 5,000 damage per shot.

This guide will take you through every step of building a top-level Archer build that will help you dominate Enshoured in both single and multiplayer.

Armor Configuration

Your armour of preference is the basis for this high-damage archer build, and critical strike improvement is the general priority.

Trailblazer Hood is your most important item, adding 40% critical strike damage alongside an additional 16% to ranged critical strike chance. This combination really contributes to your ability to unleash deadly critical strikes.

For your chest slot, equip the Frostbite Slasher Chest, which provides excellent mana regeneration. This comes in handy when repeatedly using Eternal Arrows, as the mana sustain allows continuous special ammunition firing without stopping.

Your gloves should pick up the 15% extra damage against flying targets, since flying attacks are frequent throughout the game. The Trailblazer Trousers support this build with stamina regen and larger stamina capacity, both of which will be needed to sustain rapid fire from short bows and frequent dodging trickery.

Top off your armour set with Frostbite Slasher Boots to gain extra mana regeneration, completing your use of Eternal Arrow for further backup. Accessories are equipped with the Ring of the Ancients, which gives bonus dexterity points that equal 10% extra damage when used together in Enshrouded.

Stat Distribution and Critical Strike Mechanics

Your stat priority should be Dexterity, since that is the immediate connection with your range damage. If you have the appropriate equipment and consumables, you'll have 168% range damage and 32 points in Dexterity.

Your critical strike rate begins with a base of 10% and receives an additional 26% through your gear, so you have approximately a critical hit every three shots. As you land critical strikes, your damage is amplified by up to 169%. With the backstab damage, you can get behind enemies and have a 65% bonus damage.

The combination of Backstab damage and critical strikes forms the possibility of Mammoth damage that will kill most of the enemies with a single strike.

Food and Consumables

Maxing your Dexterity with consumables makes a big difference in damage. Milkshake is the best beverage with four dexterity points, along with endurance and stamina recharge bonuses that are very compatible with the archer's playstyle in Enshrouded.

For your first meal, choose any that gives five points of Dexterity. Your second meal should be Chicken Soup since it provides four points of constitution and one point of Dexterity.

The bonus dexterity increases damage by 5%, so it is still useful even though it's a lower-level dish than Meat Stew.

Include a food that restores six points of health regeneration alongside stamina recharge for improved sustainability. Your go-to is the Elixir, which possesses a high 30% damage multiplier that will significantly boost your overall damage output.

Weapon Selection and Gem Combinations

Your weapon selection needs a careful eye on base damage and special properties. Gem of Focus is a good choice with lots of bonus damage when triple-marking enemies.

Practical use in real gameplay, however, indicates its limitations as marks are immediately lost whenever other enemies move in and out from between you and the target. The Gem is most useful as an Initiator or on single-boss monsters in Enshrouded.

Ignited Bow and the Gem of Puncturing are a powerful combination that inflicts notable fire magic damage.

As the Gem of Puncturing gives a piercing damage bonus within an interval, playing multiplayer is advisable so that more users can benefit from the effect.

Burning Gem is best in the majority of situations. Maxed to level 40, it will deal 33 damage over 6 seconds after being triggered, resulting in almost 200 extra damage per shot.

What this means is non-critical hits stack with constant damage and usually kill the target that survives the first hit.

The Dragon's Wing Weapon

Dragon's Wing is the best weapon for this build, which you can obtain after completing the quest Dragon's Last Breath. To get it, you need to gather four Map pieces across the world.

The first map piece is lying on top of a dragon's remains near Polaris Falls. The second Map piece is located at Skeleton Excavation Camp May, situated south of the starting location.

The third piece is located at Giant Skeleton Orpheus to the east, and the fourth piece is located at Skeleton Excavation Camp only.

Combine the four pieces into a Dragon's Map that indicates where a special temple is located once you have got all four pieces. Solve four lever puzzles within the temple using four poems, and in reward, get the Dragon's Wing.

Although it's level 32 ranking, the Dragon's Wing is equal to or better than the flame damage of the Ignited Bow at level 37. Its special Dragon Strength skill provides a 25% damage boost while attacking airborne, ideally suited for an Archer build in Enshrouded.

Skill Point Assignment

Spend points on Double Jump to improve your vertical movement range and better positioning to trigger the Dragon's Wing's airborne damage bonus.

Beasting skill provides you with controlled drop while shooting, allowing you to have a longer time to align shots while in mid-air. Max out all Dexterity increases in skill trees because those will automatically translate to damage increases.

Endurance enhances your survivability and stamina control. Prioritise critical hit chance bonuses, since these go exceptionally well with your equipment bonuses. Blessed Arrows give mana regeneration on critical hits, augmenting your Eternal Arrow usage pattern in Enshrouded.

Combat Skills Specialisation

The Marksman tree provides crucial damage bonuses, such as 10% range damage with base skill. Sharpshooter deliverss 20% more bonus in damage, and Counter Battery provides the advantage against ranged foes. Eagle's Bane is an attack that targets air enemies explicitly, and Skill Shots provides 20% more bonus damage.

Ranger gives a 10% stamina boost and 10% damage, so it is a good investment. Multi-shot and Multi-shot Spread let you shoot several arrows at once, potentially doubling or tripling damage on groups of enemies.

Survivor Tree's Desert Stomach becomes extremely useful by giving you a second food slot so that you get maximum damage output and health regeneration at the same time.

Spend on backstab damage bonuses since striking from behind the enemies may give you up to 55% additional damage.
