Far Cry 4 May Only Be In The Lights of Next-Gen Consoles
It is doubtful that Ubisoft would bother to make Far Cry 4 on the current-gen consoles.

The long awaited follow-up of the surprisingly good Far Cry 3 is finally announced. This time, the Far Cry series takes us to the snowy, mountainous Himalayas; a complete change to the tropical jungles of Far Cry 1 and 3 and the sandy, malaria- filled plains of Far Cry 2. Nevertheless, this brings about exciting new gameplay, like the ability to saddle and ride elephants, people working on the project have stated to Eurogamer.
Sadly, we will still have to wait a long time for Far Cry 4, as Ubisoft won’t be releasing it until the first half of 2015. But our first official glance of Far Cry 4 will be much sooner, as Ubisoft will most likely show it off in this year's press conference at E3 (in June). We definitely know that this game will come out on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. We do not know yet if it will come out on the Xbox 360 or the PS3.With Assassins Creed Unity not coming out on current-gen consoles, it is doubtful that Ubisoft would bother to make Far Cry 4 on the current-gen consoles.
Far Cry 4's missions will be much like Far Cry 3's, with lots of extra tasks to do and other sources tell us there will be lots of outposts to take over. Nothing has yet been revealed about the single player story of Far Cry 3 or the co-op. Nothing has also been revealed about Far Cry's failing multiplayer, as some hope that Far Cry 4 will sort out Far Cry's infamous map editor, which, once great, has gotten worse ever since Far Cry Instincts Predator. By the time Far Cry 4 is released it will have been in development for around two years.
