Here’s a guide on how to level up fast in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.

Keeping your squad properly leveled in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave can turn into a headache depending on which lord you pick. If you play as Dietrich, XP flows pretty freely since you can summon enemy skirmishes almost at will.
But if you play as Theodora, you will likely feel the squeeze. Her storyline forces you to spend precious turns searching with battalions, leaving your main combat units under-leveled right before major story battles in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.
While this game does not offer an unlimited instant-grind button, you can easily farm reliable experience by spending a few spare turns each month. Here is how to reset enemies and grind out levels when the story starts outpacing your squad.

Clearing Dungeons
Clearing out dungeons on the world map is a solid first step, especially when you are building support bonds between allies. But here is the problem: once you open the initial chests, re-running cleared dungeons rarely pays off.
Loot does not respawn quickly, and the raw combat XP inside cleared dens drops off fast. Unless a dungeon has fresh treasure markers waiting for you, your calendar turns are far better spent elsewhere in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.
Inn & Enemy Refresh Loop
The most reliable way to farm XP outside of combat-heavy story chapters is resetting wandering world map skirmishes using towns and local inns.
When you open the world map and toggle enemy visibility, you will see red markers indicating active hostiles. In most playthroughs, that pool dries up quickly once you clear a few fights.
To refill the surrounding map with fresh targets, first eliminate whatever active red markers are currently in your immediate area. Next, rent a room at the local inn to spend a turn resting, or simply step through the town gates and walk right back out in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.
This action refreshes wandering enemy spawns around that entire hub. Finally, step back onto the overworld map to fight the newly spawned hostiles, and repeat this loop as needed.
Using the inn at Dagdan works well during the early chapters, but low-tier spawns will stop moving the needle once your squad pushes past the early game.
Scaling XP by Regional Towns
Enemies in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave scale strictly to the zone they spawn in, not to your party’s average level or overall story progress.
Low-level zones will never yield high-level enemies. If your roster sits in the level 20 range, hunting around starter hubs like Dagdan will yield almost no experience due to level scaling drop-offs in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.
Instead, take your grinding routine to higher-tier settlements across the map. When your fighters outgrow a region, travel to advanced towns like Grand Aragon in the north.
You can set up a local farm by using the inn in that higher-tier city to rest, step outside, clear the high-level spawns, and duck back in to reset them.
Because zone XP has a natural soft cap, your frontline carries will quickly experience diminishing returns. Make sure to rotate in reserve fighters and bench units during these skirmishes so your secondary cast can catch up without dragging down main campaign missions.

FAQ
Q. Why are world map enemies giving barely any XP?
A. XP scales based on zone difficulty, not your squad's level. If you are fighting low-level enemies outside early-game towns like Dagdan, high-level units will hit an XP soft cap. Move your grind to northern settlements like Grand Aragon to fight higher-level enemies.
Q. Does re-running cleared dungeons give good rewards?
A. No. Dungeons are great for your initial run when treasure chests are full, but their loot and XP yield drop off sharply once cleared. You get much more experience by resetting overworld skirmishes via local inns.
Q. Can you grind infinitely in a single month?
A. Not in a single calendar window. Resting at inns and entsering certain zones consumes turns and calendar time. Dedicate about a week each in-game month to rest and clear map skirmishes to stay ahead of the campaign's level curve.
