In Forza Horizon 6, to complete the Sky Lanterns challenge in autumn, head to the right location at night. If it is not currently autumn in your game, you can use a simple workaround to complete it right now.

Using the Event Lab Workaround

Open your pause menu and go to the Creative Hub. Select the Horizon Event Lab and choose to play challenges. Look for the search button at the bottom of your screen.

Enter the share code for the challenge you wish to complete. Once you confirm the code, the challenge will start.

Taking the Photo

Once the event begins, you will see the Sky Lanterns right in front of you. Drive your car a little closer to them so they are clearly visible.

Open your Photo Mode, frame your shot, and take the picture. Completing this will complete the challenge. Track your progress in your Forza Horizon 6 Collection Journals.
